The 12-string is a part of Taylor’s heritage, changing players’ expectations about playability and intonation. We’ve applied the GA and GS body shapes to the 12-string design. It’s a perfect fit and feel for a guitar steeped in tradition, yet ready for a modern re-discovery. Taylor also provides inspiration from one of the all-time greats, in the form of the Leo Kottke Signature Model. Available wood combinations: Sapele/Sitka, Ovangkol/Sitka (gloss top), Maple/Sitka, Rosewood/Sitka (gloss top, back and sides). Mahogany/Sitka (LKSM).
