Santa Cruz Finger Style

The Podium took in a Finger Style last week from our pals at Santa Cruz Guitars. We always try to get these as someone is always trying to find one. This particular FS is one of, or possibly the, best one(s) we have had come through the shop. The work is flawless of course. The tone and response is typically stunning. The woods clinch the deal. Majestic colors, beautifully matched, and the neck stain is a dead on match to the colors of the body woods. Another lesson in guitar building from Master Richard Hoover.

  • Marty,

Right now it's sporting a set of 80/20 elixir lights from the factory. However a guy told me once that you can change the strings on these geetars...

Oh, and have that Goodall on the back burner too. This is going to be a resonance "shoot-out!"
